Job summary

CED is offering an accelerated Management Trainee Program designed to develop future leaders in electrical distribution. Based in Missoula, MT, you’ll rotate across operations, logistics, and sales while building strategic leadership capabilities.

Over 2–2.5 years, you’ll gain hands-on experience, participate in product training, and work toward running your own CED location with a team. Candidates should be sales-minded, autonomous, and ready to relocate within the Pacific Northwest.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; training provided for rest.
• Sales-minded and results-driven with strong communication.
• Willingness to relocate within the Pacific Northwest during and after the program.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all critical business areas from warehouse to forecasting to sales strategy.
• Prepare to lead a CED location with hiring and team management responsibilities.

CED’s Management Trainee Program is not your average “sit-and-watch” development track. Over the course of 2 to 2.5 years, you’ll rotate through every critical part of our business, from warehouse logistics to financial forecasting to customer sales strategy.

At the end of the program, you’ll be prepared to lead your own CED location where you’ll:

• Hire and manage a team
• Build lasting customer relationships
• Develop inventory and sales strategies
• Drive your market’s growth with the full support and resources of a privately held leader in electrical distribution

What Will You Learn?

• Business Operations: Inventory control, purchasing, warehouse and counter sales
• Financial Acumen: Forecasting, budgeting, accounts receivable and payable
