Job summary

Waybox in Los Altos, CA offers an internship that spans operations, product, go-to-market and supply chain. You rotate roughly every two to three months on real projects with deadlines and a named reviewer, with a potential full-time seat for high performers.

You’ll research and present findings, manage cross-team follow-ups across US–Shenzhen time zones, and fill gaps in a small, fast-moving team. This role favors initiative, practical learning in hardware and AI products, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Must be a current student or recent graduate.
• Strong written English; ability to structure messy problems.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and finding information quickly.

• Genuine interest in hardware, cars, or AI products.

Job description

This is for someone who wants to learn how a hardware company actually gets built, from the inside, before deciding what they want to be.

You rotate through operations, product, go-to-market and supply chain. Each rotation is a real piece of work with a real deadline and a named person reviewing it. Do it well and there is a full-time seat here.

What you’ll do

• Rotate across operations, product, go-to-market and supply chain, roughly two to three months at a time.
• Own a scoped project in each rotation, and present what you found and what you shipped.
• Research and analysis for whichever decision is live: competitors, suppliers, pricing, channels, users.
• Take the notes and drive the follow-ups in cross-team meetings across the US–Shenzhen time difference.
• Fill the gaps. In a small team the useful person is the one who notices.

What we’re looking for

• A current student or recent graduate, any discipline. Show us how you think.
• Strong written English, and able to give a messy problem a structure.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and with finding things out quickly.
• Self-directed, and unbothered by ambiguity.
• Genuinely interested in hardware, cars, or AI products.

Nice to have

• Something you started yourself — a company, a club, a project, a channel.
• Mandarin, or time spent in both the US and China.
• Basic SQL, Python or Figma.
