sefl is offering a Management Trainee position in Valdosta, GA, within its Operations Management Trainee Program. This entry-level program lasts 16 weeks and is designed to prepare you for an initial leadership role in operations.

You will learn the basics of transportation, cross-dock operations, and leadership communication, complete guided study, and interact with Support Center teams daily. The role includes observing an Account Manager and occasional local route exposure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Learn the basic principles of the transportation industry, efficient cross‑dock operations, effective leadership communication, and relationship building skills.
• Complete the leadership training program requiring guided, independent study.
• Interface with appropriate Support Center and Service Center associates in the completion of various aspects of the training program daily.
• Accompany and observe an Account Manager during customer sales calls.
• Accompany drivers on local delivery routes to gain an understanding of the freight delivery process on occasion.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Transportation or Logistics, or alternatively have at least two years of related work experience.
• Have an acceptable driving history that aligns with company standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility with a readiness to relocate as needed.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening abilities, and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Have basic computer skills and a very strong work ethic to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Average Annual Starting Pay: $50,000-$60,000 (pay may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications)
