Jasper Lumber Company, LLC, a producer of quality southern pine lumber, is currently seeking an entry level Management Trainee. We are seeking a candidate that has solid leadership potential and a strong desire to learn all aspects of the lumber manufacturing business. The Management Trainee works under the direction of the Production Manager.

Duties will include training in all areas of the mill, learning and understanding day-to-day operations through hands-on experience. This position requires the ability to learn, follow and carry out all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations with emphasis on the following:

• Employee safety compliance and training in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies
• Learn and understand all manufacturing and quality assurance processes
• Employee training, ensuring standard operating processes are followed and successful
• Employee onboarding, development, mentoring, and engagement
• Employee performance management, evaluation, and corrective action

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in management related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business Management, Organizational Leadership/Supervision)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills
