  • Administrative Assistance: Provide support for committees, meetings, travel arrangements, purchase requests, and training assignments.
  • Data Management: Input and maintain information across electronic systems while ensuring accuracy and compliance with department standards.
  • Project Participation: Assist with special projects, develop procedures, and support knowledge transfer and documentation updates.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides administrative support for many activities within the Bureau of Air Quality and helps ensure efficient processing of grants, contracts, agreements, and invoices. The role supports essential communication, documentation, and coordination tasks across multiple programs. As a Management Technician, you will perform the following duties:

Work Schedule and Additional Information
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
  • Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
