Job summary

Job description

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the ENGINEERING PROCESS CONTROL DIVISION, ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

FOR GS-12:
  • Experience coordinating and representing a department and shipyard at outreach events with a focus of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs.
  • Experience applying NAVSEA standards, program direction, and administrative requirements to develop unique outreach solutions for the department, shipyard, and other facilities.
  • Experience managing programs and providing instruction and advice in recruiting and outreach to a department.
  • Experience analyzing and developing recommendations for improving program operations or objectives.
FOR GS-11:
  • Experience planning and scheduling outreach events to target STEM programs and schools.
  • Experience working with recruitment, outreach, and human capital management.
  • Experience developing and maintaining computer-based systems to manage programs related to personnel.
  • Experience assisting with training, mentoring, and the development process for new hires/transfers entering a department.
