Job summary

The Management Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for one full-time lecturer (non-tenure track) faculty position in Management beginning Fall 2027.

The successful candidate will teach eight courses in competitive/integrative/management strategy and organizational, leadership/change, and will also be able to contribute to other core disciplines within the management curriculum as departmental needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an AACSB accredited institution in management, strategic management, or a closely related field at time of application.
• 3+ years of successful university-level teaching in management, strategy, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of professional experience in management, strategy, leadership, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach eight courses in management areas including competitive/integrative/management strategy and organizational leadership/change.
• Contribute to other core disciplines within the management curriculum as departmental needs evolve.
• Participate in departmental and student activities, provide department and university service, and engage in community outreach to expand visibility and enrollment.
• Maintain professional qualification through engagement, research, or other means.
