Brief Summary of Work for this Position

The Management Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for one full-time lecturer (non-tenure track) faculty position in Management beginning Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach eight courses incompetitive/integrative/management strategy and organizational,leadership/change, and will also be able to contribute to othercore disciplines within the management curriculum as departmentalneeds evolve. The successful candidate will also participate in departmental andstudent activities, provide departmental and university service,and engage in community outreach to expand our visibility andstudent enrollment and participation in the program. This positionwill be expected to maintain professional qualification througheither professional engagement, research, or other means.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• A master's degree from an AACSB-accredited institution inmanagement, strategic management, or a closely related field at thetime of application.
• Candidates must have evidence of 3+ years of successfulteaching at the university level in management, strategy, and/orrelated management disciplines.
• Candidates must have 3+ years professional experience inmanagement, strategy, leadership, or a related field.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills &Experience

• The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of industry/fieldexperience in management, strategy, leadership, or a closelyrelated field.
• Evidence of successful teaching at the university level andacross multiple modalities (in-person, hybrid, online)
• Demonstrated interest in leading student-centeredactivities
• Preference given to candidates with a terminal degree from anAACSB-accredited Business School Demonstrated experience teachingacross multiple modalities
