About the Role

Our client, a distinguished management consulting firm, is actively seeking a dedicated and results-driven Management Consultant specializing in Operations Excellence to join their team, remotely supporting clients primarily in the Welkom, Free State region. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices for a variety of businesses. You will be instrumental in identifying bottlenecks, reducing costs, and improving overall productivity for our clients. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of lean methodologies, process re-engineering, and supply chain optimization, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of client operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Develop and implement tailored solutions for process optimization, lean manufacturing, and supply chain management.
• Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions (virtually) to drive operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with client teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes and methodologies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and projected outcomes.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in operations management and supply chain.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or management consulting.
• Proven experience with lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and/or supply chain optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging clients effectively online.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and process mapping.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Residing in or having a strong connection to the Welkom, Free State region is beneficial but not strictly required for this remote role.
