Job summary

HireMinds, LLC partners with a global investment firm in NYC to support its Management Company Accounting function. This role targets a high-performing accountant with Big Four background seeking long-term growth in a sophisticated finance environment.

You will contribute to monthly close, financial and regulatory reporting, and cross-functional collaboration while pursuing process improvements through automation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience required.
• Big Four public accounting background strongly preferred.
• CPA is required, or all four sections passed.
• Experience with financial reporting, close processes and core accounting principles.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reporting.
• Assist with regulatory and compliance-related reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance and other teams.
• Help improve accounting and reporting processes through automation and technology.
• Take ownership of recurring accounting responsibilities and expand scope over time.
