Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency seeks a senior professional to develop plans, policy, and services supporting the mission of US Cyber Command. Summary

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/Infrastructure Directorate.

Duties
  • Responsible for the developing and issuing plans, policy, guidance, products, and services that continuously
  • Leads teams in the accomplishment of strategic human capital objectives and programs evaluations/reviews. Adjusts tasks and implementation plans based on analysis to complete projects and initiatives in accordance with established requirements
  • Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing a variety of HR program evaluations and audit events. Provides HR subject matter expertise to managers and support personnel in the execution of program reviews and internal control audits
  • Coordinates the implementation of policy and program requirements with senior-level officials, to include other organization management officials on policy implementation, internal placement, and training throughout the agency.
  • Incumbent participates in internal and external meetings and speaks with authority on all matters pertaining to the efficiency of applicable workforce matters and policies.

Qualifying Experience

To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: .

Experience leading a team, overseeing administrative/technical guidance; setting project scope, performing human resource requirements analysis; evaluating workforce management data; identifying significant operational gaps and developing data-driven, strategic solutions

Education

There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.

  • This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system.

  • This appointment does not confer eligibility to be non-competitively converted to an appointment in the competitive service.
