Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in management analysis, strategy, resource management and/or contract management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with clients and vendors at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare recurring reports and documentation with recommendations for management programs and activities.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research for bureau initiatives.
  • Develop recommendations and coordinate approvals for implementation.
  • Evaluate administrative processes and programs to inform resource requests.
  • Support contract administration, including monitoring compliance, analyzing vouchers and invoices, and maintaining files per regulations.
  • Coordinate and monitor short- and long-term projects with stakeholders across directorates.

Job description

Management Analyst (Business Analysis, Senior Analyst) Position Location Dunn Loring, VA

The MIL Corporation seeks a Management Analyst (Business Analysis, Senior Analyst) to supporta federal government client in the Arlington VA area. The role functions as an expert on management systems, techniques, processes, and technology that will optimize the Division's operations. The role engages in analysis of administrative processes and/or Division programs, making recommendations for programs, policies, and activities. Specific processes may vary depending upon the directorate and/or office assigned, with activities, workflows, and systems/tools governed by SOPs that typically evolve over time.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with 3 days on-site per week, but may vary based on client requirements. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of recurring reports and write documentation with recommendations for management programs, policies, and activities.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and perform analyses on a broad range of topics contributing to various bureau initiatives.
  • Formulate recommendations for resolution strategies for identified deficiencies or potential problems and collaborate with Resource Manager to obtain the proper approvals for implementation.
  • Engage in evaluating administrative processes and programs and developing related resource requests to enhance strategic and performance efforts.
  • Support various aspects of contract administration, including preparing contract materials, monitoring compliance and performance, tracking deliverables and invoices, analyzing vouchers, invoices, claims, and other requests for payment for accuracy, adequacy of documentation and correct contractual references, and maintaining files consistent with applicable federal and agency regulations.
  • Coordinate and monitor short-term and long-term projects and taskers that will involve stakeholders in other directorates/programs and/or DS personnel.

Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience with management analysis, strategy, resource management and/or contract management.
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with client personnel, other government agencies, and vendors at all levels.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Office 365.
  • Maintains professional competence and specialized knowledge base by keeping abreast of emerging themes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of and skill in applying analytical and evaluate techniques to plan, schedule and conduct studies and analyses of management functions or programs.
  • General knowledge of appropriations law, FAR, FTR, and the application of various laws, regulations, and policies related to the programs and associated support services.

  • CGFM or other relevant professional certifications.
Education

BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant Business Field.

Clearance

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and be able to upgrade to a Top Secret (TS) clearance as required.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $65,000 - $90,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
