Job summary

The US Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations in Hawaii seeks a Management Analyst at the GG-13 level to serve as the Director's direct representative and liaison to U.S. and foreign government officials in assigned countries.

You will coordinate interagency activities and contribute to strategic planning efforts. Responsibilities include planning security cooperation programs, developing implementing plans and performance measures, and acting as a liaison for a senior leader

• Serving as a liaison or direct representative for a senior leader organization in a diplomatic, military, or interagency environment.

Job description

You will serve as a Management Analyst at the GG-13 grade level serving as the Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West Director's direct representative and liaison to U.S. and foreign government officials in assigned countries. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:

1. Planning, developing, and executing security cooperation programs, preferably related to counter-drug or counter-transnational crime initiatives.
2. Coordinating with U.S. government interagency partners (i.e. DoD, DoS, DoJ) and foreign government officials.
3. Experience in strategic or operational planning, including the development of implementing plans and performance measures to align with higher-level strategic goals.
4. Serving as a liaison or direct representative for a senior leader organization in a diplomatic, military, or interagency environment.
