Gfi-Digital-Inc. in Missouri is seeking an Operations Analyst to manage IT services and infrastructure operations, monitor backups, servers, networks, and storage, and ensure targets are met.

You will handle ticketing system support, incident remediation, update knowledge bases, assess storage/backup solutions, and ensure customer backups and patching compliance. The role emphasizes strong communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and support all Technology Services customer environments including servers, backups, networking equipment, and storage.
• Perform problem determination, impact assessment, and general issue support.
• Address outages promptly in line with policies and communicate with responders and management.
• Regularly update knowledge base and documentation.
• Assess storage and backup solutions for current customers.
• Ensure customer backups are successful and servers are patched per compliance.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Analyst is responsible for is responsible for performing all operational processes and procedures, ensuring that all IT services and infrastructure meet operational targets. The Operations Analyst runs and monitors infrastructure components for all applications, backups, systems, and hardware.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for working through Technology Services’ ticketing system to monitor, manage, and support all Technology Services customer environments to include servers, backups, networking equipment, and storage.

• Performing problem determination, impact assessment, and general issue support
• Ensuring that all production site and service outages are addressed expediently in accordance with corporate policies, including initial remediation, task prioritization, and relevant communication to responders, stakeholders, and management.
• Regularly updating a knowledge base and documentation repository.
• Assess the storage and backup solutions in use by our current customers.
• Assisting with the monitoring all implementations for unexpected errors.
• Ensuring that customer backups are successful
• Ensuring that customer’s servers are patch according to GFI compliance and Microsoft compliance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge: This position requires 1-3 years of technical support and operations experience. Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience required. Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA and Cisco.
2. Skills: must be dependable, adaptable, as well as customer service focused. Must also possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Highly self-motivated and directed.
3. Abilities: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Collaboration with peers to problem solve and find the best solution.
