THE ROLE
The Analyst – Epic Application Management provides EHR design, build, testing, and troubleshooting services for Nordic clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure the integrity, integration, and stability of EHR applications for Nordic’s customers.
- Fulfill system requests from customers and translate needs into detailed requirement specifications.
- Monitor issue queues, triage for urgency, take appropriate actions, or assign to other team members.
- Handle customer calls about issues, resolve during the call, or document and transition the issue appropriately.
- Build and configure EHR applications to meet customer requirements and manage related requests.
- Analyze workflows and system setup, conduct system audits, coordinate upgrades and testing.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in relevant ticketing systems, and communicate updates to clients.
- Follow change control policies for application builds and configurations, and improve workflows and processes.
- Participate in projects and assist other initiatives as needed, under guidance.
- Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, maintaining awareness of customer-specific builds, issues, and communications.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience required.
- Certification in relevant EHR applications preferred.
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Customer service experience and healthcare IT knowledge preferred.
- Willingness to identify and lead process improvements.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Travel to Nordic Home Office in Madison, WI may be required.
- On-call rotations outside core hours, including nights and weekends, may be necessary.
- Travel up to 10%.
