Responsibilities

• Review oversize and overweight permits for accuracy and completeness.
• Review oversize and overweight permits for routes and restrictions to ensure safe travel throughout the state.
• Review oversize and overweight permits to ensure compliance with current rules and laws.
• Provide customer support to commercial carriers requiring permit status and updates.
• Administer permits for oversized and overweight tractor-trailers, ensuring safe movement throughout the state in accordance with applicable requirements.

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree; OR
• Graduation from an accredited college with an associate degree plus two years of increasingly responsible experience; OR
• Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school plus four years of increasingly responsible experience.
