Make a Difference

This dual-modality role performs both mammography (breast and bone density imaging) and ultrasound exams to create diagnostic images, which are then interpreted by a licensed practitioner.

Skills and Qualifications

• Provide optimal patient care, remaining sensitive to patient needs through assessment and monitoring.
• Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patient's medical record.
• Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items, and monitoring devices.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology or completion of a certification program in Radiography or Ultrasound.
• Current ARDMS certification (OB, AB, or RVT) OR ARRT(RT)(S) or ARRT(RT)(VS) registration OR CCI (RVS) registration.
• Radiologic Technologist license by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry.
• If not registered, eligible for a Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry; registration and licensure should be obtained within six months.
• Certified Mammography (M) by ARRT required within one year of hire.
