Job summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) with no weekends or on-call shifts.

You will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms using Hologic Dimensions, maintaining image quality and patient safety. The role requires ARRT Mammography (M) and a Texas Medical Board license, strong patient care, teamwork, and meticulous documentation to support MQSA compliance and

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms using Hologic Dimensions equipment.
• Verify patient information, explain procedures, and help reduce patient anxiety.
• Position patients and select exposure factors to obtain optimal images.
• Follow radiation safety practices to minimize exposure.
• Review images for quality and adjust as needed.
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in records.
• Maintain infection-control and patient-safety policies.
• Complete quality-control testing and MQSA documentation.
• Ensure equipment is operational through preventive maintenance and repairs.
