Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Columbia, MD imaging team. You will operate mammographic equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam process.

The role requires ARRT certification, state radiologic license, and BLS. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices following policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while delivering excellent patient care.
• Adjust compression, exposure modes, KvP, Mas, grid, focal spot, AEC, and other settings to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patients during exams and respond to discomfort or problems.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear explanations.
