Job summary

RadNet in Maryland is seeking a Float Mammography Technologist to operate mammography equipment across multiple sites. You will produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient comfort, and adjust exposure settings to optimize results.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS, with a preference for at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience. You will float between Patuxent, Calvert & O Donnell locations, with a Monday–Friday schedule and benefits including

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required for the radiology role.
• Active State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices per policy.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images promptly while ensuring patient care.
• Select compression, KvP, Mas, grid, and other parameters to optimize images.
• Monitor patient well-being and respond to discomfort or issues.
• Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions.
• Answer physician questions regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional conduct with patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver care.
