Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Mammography Technologist I in Massachusetts to perform MQSA-compliant mammography exams. You will work under a radiologist, ensure minimal radiation dose while delivering high-quality images, and safeguard patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Massachusetts radiography license in good standing.
• ARRT Mammography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Confirms clinical data, obtains patient history, and uses the lowest dose for high-quality images.
• Ensures patient well-being and confidentiality during exams.
• Communicates effectively with patients and health-care team.
• Identifies equipment problems and reports to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains CEU documentation for licensure for each location.
• Keeps ARRT Mammography CEU and experience requirements current.
• Willing to cover other locations when needed.
• Willing to train new mammographers.
