Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center seeks a Mammography Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. This part-time role supports a defined schedule, balancing clinical duties with work–life needs.

You will work within a collaborative care team, uphold radiation safety, and participate in quality control and patient education. The position emphasizes professional growth through Wellstar CareerCare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M certification required with BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Explain exams clearly to reduce patient anxiety using AIDET.
• Review images for quality and complete documentation in PACS/RIS.
