Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln in Lincolnton, NC, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic procedures under radiologist supervision. The role requires ARRT Mammography registry within six months and BLS certification, with the ability to manage imaging quality and patient records.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligibility and a focus on safety and patient care. Rotating evenings and weekends as necessary may be required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology and ARRT Mammography registry within six months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an AMA/ARRT approved Radiologic Technology program with MQSA training.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient ID armband and validates proof of identity.
• Reviews patient mammography history and correlates prior mammograms.
• Performs digital imaging acquisition and manages image workflow.
• Evaluates image quality and consults radiologist as needed.
• Assists radiologist during procedures and maintains sterile supplies.
• Maintains patient records and ensures correct exam charges and PACS transmission.
