Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform digital mammography under the supervision of a radiologist. Candidate must meet ARRT certification and MQSA/ARRT requirements, with BLS on file, and be able to manage patient records and image verification.

Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, reviewing history, acquiring high-quality images, and assisting radiologists during invasive procedures while adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA/ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and advanced registry in Mammography within six months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identity and reviews mammography history.
• Performs digital mammography and ensures image quality.
• Assists radiologist during procedures and maintains sterile technique.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Maintains patient records and ensures correct exam sent to PACS.
