Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist in California who will operate mammographic equipment and related devices to produce high-quality images. You will guide patients through the exam, monitor their well-being, and ensure adherence to safety and privacy policies in a fast-paced radiology setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS, with a preference for at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state radiologic licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices following policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while delivering excellent patient care.
• Set up equipment adjustments (compression, KvP, Mas, grid, focal spot, AEC) to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patients during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues appropriately.
• Guide patients calmly through procedures and answer questions about the exam.
• Address physician questions and patient needs regarding cases and results.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy and law.
• Protect company property and patient financial information on-site and on portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
