Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist in California to perform mammographic imaging with a focus on high-quality images and patient care.

You will operate mammography equipment, optimize exposure settings, and monitor patient well-being throughout exams. The role requires ARRT(R)(M) certification, a state radiologic license, and BLS certification, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification required or eligible.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices following policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images quickly while ensuring patient care.
• Apply correct compression, exposure settings, filtration, KvP, Mas, grid, and other image-quality factors.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or problems.
• Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Address physician questions and needs regarding patients.
