Job summary

Ara Diagnostic Imaging, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic procedures with strong patient care and safety focus in the Greater Austin area.

Candidates should be ARRT certified, Texas-licensed, and experienced in quality assurance and radiation safety. Join a team that values collaboration, growth, and a supportive work environment in outpatient imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA Council on Education approved program in radiologic technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State certification by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Ability to deal courteously with clinical personnel and patients.
• Adheres to Radiology Partners policies including HIPAA and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Performs all mammographic procedures per departmental procedures.
• Applies patient care standards and recognizes conditions essential for successful imaging.
• Maintains quality assurance records as required by credentialing organizations.
• Ensures proper anatomical orientation and accurate identification on images.
• Practices radiation safety in line with ALARA principles.

Position Summary

• Performs all mammographic procedures, according to the Department Procedure Manual.
• Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the radiologic procedure.
• Performs and maintains all quality assurance records/controls required by ACR,the Stateand any other credentialing organizations as required by law.
• Identifies proper anatomical orientation on all required images and assures proper identification on all images.
• Practices radiation safety by applying AARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principals .

Desired Professional Skills And Experience

• Graduate of recognized , approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). State certification by the Texas Medical Board (T.M.B.)
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships.
• Adheres to all RadiologyPartners policies and procedures, including compliance, HIPAA, OSHA, licensing, and accreditation guidelines.
• Demonstrates a results orientation for delivering appropriate products and services in an accurate ,complete,and timely fashion.
