Job summary

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT (R) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - ACC Breast Center. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms across rotating sites, with potential to learn localizations and biopsies. RT (R) registry preferred; willing to train for Mammography.

Day shifts Mon–Fri with rotating start times, located at multiple facilities including Siteman Cancer Center and related centers. On-site work with travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Education requires an Associate or trade school equivalency.
• R.T. (R) registry is required.
• Willingness to train for Mammography.

Additional Information About the Role

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT (R) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - ACC Breast Center.

Position Details

• Day Shift Hours: Mon – Fri at rotating shifts between 7am & 4:30pm with two Saturdays a year
• Location: Rotates between Siteman Cancer Center in the GCW Building & Center for Advanced medicine Building with the option to also rotate to our South County, Highlands Screening Center , or the Mammography Van
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, with the ability to learn additional responsibilities of Localizations, and stereotactic and Contrast Enhanced (CEM) biopsies.
• RT (M) Certification – preferred but not required
• Willing to Train for Mammography (M)!!!

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• R.T. (R) registry

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
