The Hospital of Central Connecticut is actively hiring Mammography Technologists to join our team in New Britain, Connecticut, with cross-training in Mammography and Tomosynthesis using GE Pristina units. This role offers a dynamic environment to grow skills and advance in radiology, while supporting patient care across Hartford HealthCare facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
• CT State Radiographer's License required.
• ARRT (R) required – ARRT (M) preferred.
• Current x-ray and mammography experience highly preferred.
• Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures per established protocols.
• Operate digital tomosynthesis equipment and related procedures, with opportunities to train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization and CEM.

Summary

The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures, according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.

The Mammography Technologist operates digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and performs procedures. This will include x-ray and mammography with the opportunity to train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization procedures and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.

Qualifications
