Job summary

experiencedAlliedHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist at one or more urgent care locations in Florida. The role requires independent judgment and the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Applicants must have ARRT certification in Radiology and Mammography and Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure, plus Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Radiology and Mammography is required.
• Two years experience in screening mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Uses independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

• Require Board Certification in Radiology and Mammography.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer two (2) years experience screening mammography exams.

Required License and Certs

• ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech

Preferred License and Certs

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. Evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.
