Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for PRN shifts to perform mammography and ultrasound imaging in accordance with MQSA guidelines. The role includes assisting physicians with complex exams and maintaining licensure and CE credits.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow and acting as a resource to fellow radiologic staff while ensuring quality imaging and safety standards are met at all times.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the direction of the Department Manager and according to department policies and procedures, operates mammographic and ultrasound equipment in order to obtain images of designated areas. May perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations and assisting in sterile procedures. Must follow all MQSA guidelines and maintain current licensure and appropriate CE credits. Serves as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date is Required
• (ARRT-R) Radiography is Required
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer is Required
