Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist for our Breast Diagnostic Center. The Mammography Tech operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images and assists physicians with procedures in a sterile environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing mammography exams efficiently according to protocol.
• Completing pre-exam screening, greeting patients, assisting with gowns, completing history forms, and stocking supplies.
• Verifying doctor’s orders, documenting exams, starting/ending IVs, and administering contrast media safely.
• Transporting patients, moving patients on/off exam tables, organizing exams, and communicating effectively with staff and patients.

Qualifications required:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiography program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registration in Mammography.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience is highly preferred.
