MEP Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a focus on mammography in Minnesota to perform screening and diagnostic imaging. You will ensure accurate positioning, maintain image quality, and adhere to radiation safety standards while supporting patients before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities may include additional duties such as mobile imaging, EKGs, and DEXA scans based on facility needs.

Qualificações

• Completion of an ARRT/JRCERT accredited radiologic technologist program.
• ARRT registration required; mammography certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Knowledge of mammography techniques and general radiology protocols preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record if applicable.
• Licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board for North Dakota-based work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment, with recertification as needed.
• Demonstrates compassion, positive attitude, and understanding of anatomy, pathology, physiology, and medical terminology.

Role Overview

This position involves operating mammography equipment to perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging, ensuring accurate positioning, image quality, and adherence to radiation safety standards. The technologist provides care and support to patients before, during, and after procedures, explaining processes and addressing inquiries. Additional responsibilities may include performing diagnostic radiology procedures, mobile imaging, EKGs, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA scans based on facility needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program recognized by ARRT or JRCERT.
• ARRT registration required; mammography certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Knowledge of mammography techniques and general radiology protocols preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record if applicable.
• Licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board for North Dakota-based work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment, with re-certification as needed.
