Job summary

HCA Healthcare invites applications for a Mammo Technologist PRN at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN. This role focuses on women's imaging exams and supports basic departmental goals with independent judgment and initiative.

You will perform Mammo procedures, demonstrate competency, and engage with patients and team members to uphold a productive work environment while contributing to quality care.

Qualifications

• BCLS required; obtain within 30 days of employment start date.
• RT(R)(ARRT) required; must be obtained prior to start date.
• 1–2 years of Mammo imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical procedures in women's imaging exams.
• Demonstrate competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist.
• Maintain courteous, cooperative relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other departments, even during busy times.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. This role is responsible for performing women's imaging exams and assisting with basic departmental functions and goals.

• You will perform a variety of technical procedures including women's imaging exams
• You will demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist
• You will display courteous behavior and cooperative relationships with customers and co-workers
• You will tactfully and diplomatically communicate with patients and other departments even during stressful times you will work to maintain a productive and friendly work environment
• You will participate in performance improvement activities

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RT(R)(M)(ARRT) required; must be obtained prior to start date
• 1-2 years of experience in Mammo preferred

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years.
