Riverside Healthcare in Kankakee, IL seeks a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform imaging procedures, ensure patient comfort, and produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography, QC checks, and equipment maintenance is preferred.

The role requires ARRT-M certification and IEMA radiography credentials, strong patient communication, and teamwork to maintain safety, accuracy, and efficient diagnostic flow within the imaging

Formación

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT-M mammography certification required; must obtain within 12 months of hire.
• IEMA Certification in Radiography required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic views.
• Capture and analyze images for quality and documentation for interpretation.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment and report malfunctions.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to coordinate exams.
