The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, is IEMA-certified (or eligible), ARRT eligible, and BLS certified, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• IEMA Certification Required in Radiography.
• Graduate of AMA and accredited program in medical imaging; registry eligible.
• ARRT RT (R) eligible or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and fluoroscopic examinations.
• Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures and patient setup.
• Position patients and equipment for optimal imaging and comfort.
• Select and operate radiographic equipment and determine exposure factors.
• Document exams in EMR and PACS; maintain image storage and copies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient care.
• Conduct QC checks on imaging equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Be available for on-call imaging duties as required.
