Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform patient care functions related to mammography procedures in a hospital-affiliated radiology setting. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, proper positioning, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure timely interpretation.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree or equivalent, a Mammography Certificate, ARRT and BCLS certifications, and some related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Mammography Certificate/License required; ARRT and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• One year related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in preparation for mammography procedures and explain procedures to gain cooperation.
• Perform mammography exams with proper positioning and technique.
• Manage PACS images and ensure demographics match orders.
• Support radiologist by ensuring images are available and correctly labeled.
• Operate mammography equipment and guide patient breathing and positioning.
