Qualifications

• Proficiency in mammography procedures, patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images.
• Excellent communication and patient-focused care.
• Ability to work with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal mammographic images.
• Operate mammography equipment and ensure image quality per protocols.
• Evaluate images for adequacy and escalate concerns to the radiology team.
• Document exam details and maintain records.
• Maintain exam rooms and imaging equipment in safe, clean condition.
