Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Easton, PA seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic services with focus on image quality and patient safety.

You will ensure proper patient identification, accurate data entry, and adherence to department procedures while delivering compassionate care. The role requires ARRT Mammography certification or active registration within 1 year of hire, plus ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registered in Mammography preferred.
• ARRT registered in Mammography required within 1 year of hire date.
• Continuing education a must to assure quality studies.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services with care and accuracy.
• Ensures successful technical continuity of care and educates staff as needed.
• Demonstrates competency with RIS/EPIC modules relevant to responsibilities.
• Contributes data for Radiology QA/Performance Improvement programs.
• Teaches and trains students in mammography when site allows training.
• Provides patient education about examinations and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety and downtime procedures.
• Maintains quality of digital images sent to PACS and checks patient records.
