Qualifications

• Graduated from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Less than 1 year of experience in screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Knowledge of techniques for quality imaging and patient communication.
• Registered Technologist Radiology and Certified Mammography Technologist upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification to be acquired within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs breast imaging exams and maintains patient safety and compliance.
• Assists with quality control evaluations of imaging equipment.
• Communicates and collaborates with care teams effectively.
• Enters patient information accurately into EMR.
• Trains new colleagues on departmental processes.
