Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Laredo, located in Laredo, TX, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate mammography equipment and perform procedures under radiologist oversight. You will review patient data, ensure accuracy, and communicate findings to the care team.

The role requires ARRT Mammography certification (or registry eligibility) and BLS, with a focus on patient safety and image quality in a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an AMA Council of Education approved radiologic technology program; associate's degree preferred.
• Licensure: ARRT certification; Mammography certification or registry eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic Mammogram and perform procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision.
• Identify patients, review charts, and record pertinent data during examinations.
• Review exams for technical accuracy, present to radiologist, and communicate results.
