Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiology required.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Radiologic Technologist MA license required
• Registered Technologist (ARRT) preferred
• Mammography (ARRT) preferred
• Mammography work experience 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for procedures.
• Take verbal orders from physician.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic studies on patients.
• Prints film or burns CDs if warranted.
• Matches with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
• Assist in quality improvement programs in the department.
• Assists in training new personnel in hospital and department procedures.
• Instructs Radiologic Technology students in radiographic positioning, technique, and film critique.
• Documents patient mammogram services by completing patient record charting.
