Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate and high school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• MA DPH Radiologic Technologist license required; ARRT registration preferred.
• BLS and Mammography ARRT credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and related devices.
• Positions patients and ensures proper exposure factors.
• Evaluates image quality and requests additional views as needed.
• Prepares supplies using aseptic technique when applicable.
• Explains procedures to patients.
