Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist in Phoenix to join our radiology team. You will operate mammographic equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient comfort throughout the exam.

You will adjust technical factors to optimize image quality and collaborate with physicians to meet patient care standards. The role requires ARRT(R)(M) certification, a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and a BLS credential, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices following company policies.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while delivering excellent patient care.
• Adjust compression, exposure modes, KvP, Mas, grid, and related settings to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Provide patient guidance and answer questions about exam procedures and process.
• Address physician questions and patient needs regarding exams.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policies.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
• Engage diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
