Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate mammographic equipment, produce high-quality images, and monitor patient comfort with a focus on safety and patient care in a fast-paced radiology setting.

The role requires ARRT certification and state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, along with BLS. One year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices per policy and protocol.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while delivering excellent patient care.
• Adjust exposure parameters, compression, and other factors to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions to ease anxiety.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patient imaging needs.
