Job summary

You will work with physicians to determine protocol, review images, and document in EMR/PACS, following MASA/ARC safety standards and ALARA principles. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Complete mammography, bone density, breast ultrasound exams and procedures.
• Identify optimal images and submit for physician review according to policy.
• Review patient documentation in EMR/PACS and update records.
• Maintain safety guidelines and use ALARA techniques for radiation reduction.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine protocol and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography, bone density, breast ultrasound exams; identify optimal images.
• Submit images for physician review and maintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Maintain safety and quality guidelines (MASA/ARC) and use ALARA techniques.
• Assist in training students and technologists in Mammography.
• Travel up to 20% as required.
