Job summary

Qualifications

• Registration in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography per ARRT.
• Massachusetts mammography licensure required.
• BLS healthcare provider cert required before end of 90-day probation.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mammography equipment and performs exams with universal protocol and sterile technique.
• Records breast history and notes patient discomfort for Radiologist.
• Documents work in HIS/RIS/PACS and PEN RAD systems.
• Assists in other modalities as needed.
• Maintains and cleans equipment; supports quality control and improve patient safety.
• Keeps up with mammography developments and continuing education.
