GENERAL SUMMARY

Up to $7,500 Sign-on Bonus

Full Time Benefit Eligible

Shift: FT 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts between 7a-7p

Location: 21000 12 Mile Rd STE 116, St Clair Shores, MI 48081

Responsibilities

• Provides mammography imaging services, operating equipment and performing procedures.
• Prepares and positions patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Explains procedures and educates patients on the importance of regular mammography for preventive breast health.
• Develops and evaluates images for quality, including density, contrast, and distortion.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, including correct markers and patient data.
• Maintains equipment functionality, reporting issues promptly.
• Maintains a clean and organized department environment.

Education and Experience Required

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, OR Associate's/Technical degree, OR 4 years of applicable experience.

Certification and Licenses Required

• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) prior to hire; ARC CPR accepted with renewal from AHA.
• One or more of the following:
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography (ARRT), obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), obtained within 12 months of hire.

Additional Preferences

• Experience in performing QC, screening, and diagnostic mammography at an ambulatory breast imaging facility.
