Job summary

WellStar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography specialization to perform imaging procedures, set up equipment, position patients, and ensure patient safety. You will maintain high-quality images and adhere to department protocols, including pre/post care and privacy standards.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting, and compliance with ongoing education and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Mammography and ARRT Radiography certifications required on hire.
• BLS and ARC-BLS certifications required; Instructor certification noted.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Rad Tech; Mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and ensure proper patient identification and safety.
• Set up equipment and position patient for procedures.
• Maintain FDA/MQSA requirements and continuing education.
• Respond to emergencies and use critical thinking.
