Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full‑time day shift. The role requires Oregon Radiographer licensure, ARRT Radiography certification, and BLS; Mammography certification should be achieved within six months of hire.

A $6,000 signing bonus is available for eligible external hires. The technologist will perform mammography exams per physician orders, optimize images for each patient, and uphold Providence's patient‑centered care

Qualifications

License/registration required prior to hire.
Oregon Radiographer License on hire.
BLS certification on hire.
ARRT Radiography certification on hire.
NR Mammography certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated mammography equipment.
Considers individual patient's age-related needs to produce optimal images.
Uses knowledge of imaging factors and techniques to determine the best imaging approach for each patient.
Maintains patient safety and quality standards while delivering compassionate care.
